Hey, thanks for all the e-mail comments. Though I can't respond to all of them, I do read them.

Lots of thank yous to everyone who sent in your pizza rants which hit home but I didn't think of offhand.

In the pizza wars, different chains compete on who can make and deliver the best pizza. Whatever pizza chain we work in, we all share some things in common; having to face these similar situations at one time or another.

PAGE 1

People who don't TIP and/nor TIP the proper amount

People who don't have their check written out when the pizza delivery driver arrives at the door

People who live in gated communities such as some apartments and neighborhoods who don't give their last name and/or code for the automatic security gate

People who don't put numbers on their houses

Porch light not on at night

People who try to combine two specials in one

The phone relay game

People who can't decide on what they want when phoning in an order

People who call for deliveries 5 minutes before or even way after closing time

People who have this "me, myself, and I" attitude

People who confuse us with another pizza establishment

People who call up and want the nearest competitor's phone number

People who try to pay with $50 and $100 bills for a small order

Some people with coupons

Water sprinklers

People who try to negotiate cost of the order

I knock on one door, customer comes out of the other

Cheaters

People who call up for stupid reasons

The "misbox"

Our parking lot rants

Customers who want to use the employee restroom

Customers who pay in penny rolls (or bags of change)

Customers who don't control their dogs when I arrive at the door

Customers who have their 17 week old infant or their shy 5 year old hand you the money

Customers who don't plow their driveway or put sand on their icy walks

People from businesses who order, and then can't be found because they're in a different part of the building

Customers who are out of our delivery area and insist we deliver to their house

People who ask me for free pizza and other stupid questions

Stupid and/or ignorant people in general

People who accuse me and my fellow drivers of speeding down their street

People who aren't home when you get to their house

People who can't get their door open

Person who orders pizza but doesn't tell anybody else

People who have gotten spoiled on a cheap pizza special
