Disaster prone buildings:
I am sick and tired of hearing about all the tornado, hurricane and the occasional California earthquake. I've always wondered what would happen if a tornado struck downtown high rise buildings. My question has finally been answered on April 16, 1998 with only broken windows in Nashville, Tennessee. They are built to withstand hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. Why can't houses be built like downtown high rise buildings especially in the United States where most tornadoes occur so we can stop all this grief and suffering? Sure, it may cost more money, but in the long run grief, casualties and insurance premiums will be dramatically reduced. Government assistance requests will also be dramatically reduced which may result in lower taxes. My next three story home will be built like the downtown high rise buildings with tough steel beams and concrete blocks. I will then look forward to the next tornado or hurricane to put my theory to the test and set an example to the nation. All my neighbors who lost their homes will see mine still standing and most will rebuild in the strength like mine.
The mainstream music since the 1990s and Generation X:
I think that the majority of mid 1990s mainstream music are what used to be Alternative/Grunge and I hate it! Music used to be so good in the past especially in the 1980s. Anyway, I refuse to be labeled "Generation X" because I don't want to live my life that way like wearing a cap backwards, baggy clothes, body piercing, and listening to Alternative/Grunge music. What's so cool about depressing issues in music? I've always listened to Adult Contemporary with some Hard Rock and Dance music formats. It's been annoying me ever since my favorite music video show on TBS Superstation called Night Tracks (if anyone still remember the show) switched to Alternative in 1991 and then got cancelled in 1992. I think that MTV's dominance was one factor which I hate them for this and now I hate them even more for starting this Generation X trend. They don't play good music videos anymore. I'm glad that artists like Aerosmith, Michael Bolton, Bon Jovi, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Madonna, Richard Marx, and Rod Stewart are still around or otherwise EVERY mainstream music would be what used to be Alternative/Grunge.
Music formats in the mid 1990s can also be very confusing because I love Duran Duran, The Go-Go's, INXS, and Pet Shop Boys in the 1980s and the very early 1990s. I don't consider them to be Alternative but Pop/Rock and Dance.
Itches from mosquito bites:
If female mosquitoes need blood to reproduce, everyone would be more than happy to give some. The only two things everyone would ask is that if they would just not inject that stuff which causes skin to itch and not to spread diseases.
