Andy's Quantum Leap Episode Guide
(Season 1)

There are a total of 97 hours of Quantum Leap. "Genesis" and "Lee Harvey Oswald" are original 2 hour episodes, not 2 episodes aired in a 2 hour block. They are still considered as two episodes if you saw the different production numbers. To prove it, NBC ordered a maximum of 22 episodes per season and if the two hour "Lee Harvey Oswald" was considered as one episode, there would only be 21 episodes for Season 5.
Some episodes had a different original title. For example, "Lee Harvey Oswald" was "Leaping on a String" and "Good Night, Dear Heart" was "Dreaming a Life Away". About the kisses with history, an event that our time traveling hero Dr. Samuel Beckett inadvertantly causes in some of his leaps to create history that as we all know it, there are other minor kisses that include words that are commonly used in the future (i.e. nerd, awesome, junk food, idiot).
As of today, no new Quantum Leap episodes are being shot. Sigh, it's a shame that Quantum Leap was cancelled by NBC just before it had the chance to reach the 100th episode milestone. I wish that I was living in a different reality (like the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Parallels" that aired during the week of 11/28/1993 where Worf keeps shifting to other realities) where Quantum Leap is still on the air. Remember, we create our own realities so we can always change it so let's WRITE, WRITE, WRITE to flood NBC and MCA/Universal!
